Be certain to inquire on pricing for this service when you reserve your baby because our "flight suit" training starts from they time they begin the weaning stage. This makes it possible for you to easily place them in their flight suit without any type of a struggle or fight. They will know that the flight suit means they are going somewhere and obtaining more freedom. We utilize a reward program and gentle, loving handling to encourage good behavior while getting suited up.

A whole new adventure without those embarassing bird droppings in your home on the furniture, in your car if you take him out, and none left on any of your friends when you take him for a visit and to aide in socializing your baby!!

At Morris Aviaries we believe that a realtionship between a person and their feathered pet should be a life long commitment. It is because of this belief that we not only breed for health and temperament, but we also put a lot of time and effort in socialization, diet and over all "handling".

We have been in the bird business for over 20 yrs and have learned a lot in this amount of time. Although we have learned alot, there is always more to learn and certainly a lot to teach others as well.

Because of this need to educate, we have taken on the challenge of educating the young children of the area by performing assemblies when requested by the schools in the local area of Idaho. I believe that an educated society will help to prevent negelect and abuse of the pet bird population in the future.

I am also striving to place an educational sanctuary for the children and public to walk through and see, hear and learn about different bird species. Not only will this provide the benefit of education, but it will also allow a place for retired, unwanted or unadoptable birds to live out their lives. The birds of the sanctuary will be used SOLELY for education purposes and will most certainly NOT be used for breeding or be sold.

The breeding aviary is closed to the public to minimize the chances of illnesses being brought in from other birds, animals and/or people. However, we do encourage new owners that have placed a deposit on a baby, to stop in regularly and bond with their baby and get to know him/her before they take her home. Of course, this can only be done if the new family resides locally and we certainly understand that. we do send update pictures over the internet and information on their personalities as the baby grows and developes so that a distant family can still take part in them developing and changing.
